Our History
Founded by E. David Lewis and Eliot Harrison, Lewis & Harrison was formed in 1996 around a unique concept for consulting firms. Rather than retaining a full team of technical experts in-house as full-time employees, it developed an outside group of qualified consultants. In this way, the firm retained maximum flexibility to use the top experts in their fields to assist clients with their unique problems, while also reducing overhead and passing the savings onto its clients.
This has evolved into what is now a firm of more than a dozen highly skilled experts in various fields including:
- Toxicology
- Residue studies
- Efficacy trials
- Product chemistry
- Environmental and ecological effects
The current partners, Christina Swick and Georgia Anastasiou, each have more than 25 years of regulatory experience and every associate has on average more than a dozen years of experience.
To date, Lewis & Harrison has assisted over 600 companies that specialize in chemical, consumer, industrial, health-care and agricultural products. The companies range from large multi-billion dollar consumer companies to small start-ups entering the market for the first time.
